The Bio

Lady Bianca - Blues, Gospel and R&B Vocalist/Piano Artist, Producer

With roots in Kansas City, Macon , Georgia and a father teaching her Texas Blues piano as a child, Lady Has evolved into an icon in the San Francisco Bay Area where She's known as "Queen of the Blues and Gospel".

 She has sung, recorded and toured the world with Frank Zappa, Van Morrison, John Lee Hooker and Sly Stone, as a featured vocalist and background arranger.

With her writing partner, Stanley Lippitt, she has a catalog of over three hundred songs, produced, arranged, and has  recorded 9 albums , including new release "Blues is on the Menu" Mp3 on her own Magic-O ("Home of the Mighty Oakland sound") Label.

 Lady Bianca has toured the country with her trio and  was a featured solo vocalist and pianist on the lInternational Boogie Woogie Festival in Lugano, Switzerland.

In January 2015 Lady Bianca  represented The Golden Gate Blues Blues Society in Memphis as a contestant in the International Blues Challenge in the Solo/Duo Category. 

2017 finds Lady Bianca's voice singing "Oh Freedom" in the Roots award winning film Documentary film Gina's Journey. The Search for William Grimmes,

Lady Bianca is featured as  Narrative in the Oakland  Based Film Documentary  "Evolution of the Blues"

 2018 Lady Bianca sails the Caribbean seas with the Legendary Blues Cruise #30.  She was a feature performer, in the  "Mitch Woods "Billboard  Lounge aboard ship.
